Our new website

Our new website

Hello everyone!

It has been quite some time since the last news update. We have been working on our new website for a while now and we are very pleased to be going live. So, what exactly has changed?

  1. We have a shiny new logo. Our old logo was not really related to our brand, and that is why we now have a custom crafted one. Hopefully, you will like it as much as we do.
  2. Multilingual – We are excited that we have finally become multilingual. Our website is now available in German and English and we will strive to remain multilingual with any blog posts, such as this one.
  3. We have completely rewritten the product description and information.

We also reworked the whole page layout and added new content, as the old website simply did not represent our current portfolio anymore. Not only do we provide stand-alone products, but also other services, like custom development and consulting.

The new website is only the first part of the big change we have been working on for the last two years.

As you may know, at the moment everything is tied together by WordPress and plugins for it. This was a good way to handle everything in the past, but was never the perfect solution. WordPress is simply too inflexible and much too slow for this purpose. We, therefore, developed our own platform on which we will handle everything in the future. This new platform includes many new features, e.g. an online shop, forums and now also a list of your purchases and their details. We plan to add more features in the near future, but it already has everything that we need and far more than what the current WordPress-based system provides.

Switching from our current system to the new one is a very complex process and also requires your interaction if you use our Easy Media Grabber. We will keep the current support forums online for the next few weeks until we are ready to deploy our new system. We will, however, disable the old website, other than the support forums and the online shop. Unfortunately, we cannot merge the current support forums into the new one, meaning that all posts will be lost. That is very unsatisfactory but ultimately worthwhile.

Additional information for customers of our Easy Media Grabber

If you use Easy Media Grabber, you are required to sign up at our new platform when it goes live, as you need to redeem your purchase code again and after that you will get your free module. If you want to switch to another one, this will be your only chance to do so.

We will provide all buyers of additional modules with a coupon code for the same value as their purchase amount to allow them to get those modules easily again. Please make sure that your Gewora account has an up-to-date email address, as we will use it to email you your coupon.

It is very important to take a minute or two to perform the above steps, if you want to continue using Easy Media Grabber. We also very much recommend that you follow us on Facebook or Twitter, to keep up with new announcements.

Additional information on the new support platform will follow as soon as it goes live, which will be within the next few weeks.

Thanks in advance for your time. We will give our best to make this change as comfortable as possible.

Warm regards from Vienna!
